Cats will sometimes climb into car engines to keep warm in the cold weather, so it’s important to do a couple simple things to protect your cat. Keep your cat inside, particularly when it’s cold outside. And to protect other neighbourhood cats a little thump on your hood before getting in your car and starting it up will give the cat a warning and tell them it’s time to find a safer place.
